New Update: Samsung Galaxy S22 Series, The Most Recent Information And Rumours!

Samsung Galaxy S22 series release date, price, and specifications are all expected to be announced soon.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 is almost certainly going to be one of the best smartphones available in 2022 – and the Galaxy S22 launch date is now only a matter of weeks away, with shipments set to begin just a few weeks after that date.

Because these are Samsung’s flagship smartphones, the introduction of a new Galaxy S series phone is always one of the most eagerly expected shows or events on the technology calendar.

The new Galaxy S22, S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are all expected to be unveiled at the Samsung event in 2022.

Each of these phones is intriguing in its own right, but the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the one that everyone has been looking forward to this year, as the flagship mobile appears to be significantly different from last year’s Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.

This is because the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra appears to be evolving into the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, which will include full S Pen digital stylus functionality.

In this section, we’ll go over everything we know about the S22 phone series at the moment, as well as where it’s likely to land in our overall best Samsung phone ranking in the future.

At the moment, it’s fair to say that the best Android phones list is an impressive one – and there are already several Samsung handsets on it – but we believe that the Galaxy S22 has the potential to outperform them all.

Listed below is everything you need to know about the device:

Samsung Galaxy S22: Quick Detailed Review.

As reported by Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy S22 launch will take place at 23:00 on February 9, Beijing time.

This has been “100 per cent” confirmed by Samsung’s leakster-in-chief. Those are the times in Pacific Standard Time (PT), Eastern Standard Time (ET), and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

Samsung has confirmed that the Unpacked event will take place on February 9, 2022, corresponding to the date of the Samsung Unpacked February event.

The following are the Samsung Unpacked broadcast times: 07:00 PT, 10:00 ET, and 15:00 GMT. As you can see, the dates and times for the two sets of events are identical.

Therefore, while Samsung has not explicitly stated that the S22 range will be launched at the next Galaxy Unpacked event, it is almost certain to do so.

While pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S22 are expected to open on February 9, 2022, the day of Samsung Unpacked, there is no official word on when they will begin.

Although it’s not officially available yet, you can technically place an order for the Galaxy S22 right now through Samsung’s official website (the US only).

On this official reserve page, you can “reserve the successive Galaxy smartphone” or “reserve the next Galaxy tablet,” depending on your preference. To be able to do so, you must first enter your name and email address.

By reserving a pre-order, you will also receive “an additional $50 Samsung credit,” which can be used on “other Galaxy products during the pre-order period.”

Finally, according to current plans, the Samsung Galaxy S22 is expected to be released on February 24, 2022. On the other hand, pre-orders are expected to arrive a few days earlier than regular orders.

Ahead of the Samsung Unpacked launch event, this pre-order and release date information has been leaked out of South Korea.

In terms of the Samsung Galaxy S22 price, no official pricing information has been released, and there are at the moment conflicting reports as to how much the S22 will cost.

One leaker, for example, claims that the Samsung Galaxy S22 will start at $849 for the 8GB RAM / 128GB storage space configuration, which is the same price as the S21 did when it was first announced.

According to the leaker, prices then rise in the following ways:

“The actual official EURO prices: for the S22 8/128GB is 849 S22, 8/256GB is 899, S22+ 8/128GB is 1049, S22+ 8/256GB is 1099, S22 Ultra 8/128GB is 1249, S22 Ultra 12/256GB is 1349, S22 Ultra 12/512GB is 1449, S22 Ultra 8/128GB = 1449, S22 Ultra 12/512GB = 1449, S22 Ultra 8/128GB = 1449, S22 Ultra 12/512GB =

The leaker, in this case, is well-regarded, and he appears confident in his assertion that these are “actual official EURO prices,” leading us to believe that these prices for the S22 range will be accurate.

Other reports, this time from the Netherlands, claim that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus will cost €1,190 (approximately £995) for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage model, which is €190 (approximately $212 / £160) more than the S21+ did when it was first released.

Furthermore, according to additional reports, a $100 price increase will be applied to the S22 Ultra model as well, with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra expected to cost $1,299 when released.

Colours for the Samsung Galaxy S22 vary depending on the model but include white, black, rose gold, green, and a new dark red.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus will be available in various colours, including black, green, white, and pink gold.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 specifications vary depending on which model you choose (see the full list in the specifications section below).

Still, each phone is expected to have an Exynos 2200 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset with a 5G modem and between 128 and 512GB of storage space and 8-12GB of memory.

The New Samsung Galaxy S22: Release Date.

Almost certainly, the Samsung Galaxy S22 range will be announced on February 9, 2022, at an officially announced Samsung Unpacked event, with the S22 release date expected to be February 24, 2022, just a couple of weeks later.

According to Samsung’s leakster-in-chief, Ice universe a respected South Korean news outlet Digital Daily, these dates have been partially confirmed by the company itself.

As a result, a countdown to the Galaxy S22’s release date is now available on the company’s official website.

The Samsung Galaxy: Pre-order And Price.

A leaker has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S22 will cost $899 (approximately £660 / AU$1,245), the Galaxy S22 Plus will cost $1,099 (approximately £805 / AU$1,525), and the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra would cost $1,299 (approximately £955 / AU$1,800).

However, the validity of these prices has not been confirmed as of this writing.

However, if these rumours are correct, the Samsung Galaxy S22 will be approximately $100 more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S21 range.

According to another leak from the Netherlands, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus will be priced at €1,190 (approximately £995) for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage model.

Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S22 are now officially available in the United States, with people able to reserve a Samsung Galaxy S22 pre-order through the official Samsung website.

People are being invited to “reserve the next Galaxy smartphone,” which appears to mean that by signing up for this, the user will be able to choose the model of S22 they want when S22 pre-orders officially open, which is rumoured to be on February 9, 2022, according to a report.

The Samsung Galaxy S22: Specifications.

To be crystal clear, no official Samsung Galaxy S22 specifications have been announced by the South Korean phone manufacturer as of this writing.

In terms of processors, Samsung has officially released its launch video trailer for the Exynos 2200, which highlights many of the processor’s next-generation capabilities.

The first half of the trailer focuses on the processor’s graphics performance, which is aided by Samsung’s Xclipse GPU, which was developed in collaboration with AMD and showcased in the trailer.

The Xclipse GPU is based on AMD’s RDNA2 architecture, which is the same architecture used in the PlayStation 5 and on the Xbox Series X gaming consoles.

It is capable of rendering graphical effects such as real-time ray tracing and variable rate shading in real-time.

The Samsung Galaxy S22: Screen.

It seems as though the Samsung Galaxy S22 will have a slightly smaller display than the Galaxy S21.

A popular Samsung leakster claimed that the S22 would be “the smallest flagship phone in recent years” and that the device would be “smaller than the iPhone 13.” Samsung has denied the claims.

In comparison to the Samsung Galaxy S21, which had a 6.2-inch screen, current speculation is that the Galaxy S22 will have a 6.1- or even 6-inch screen.

This appears to be supported by the dimensions released by Samsung’s leakster-in-chief Ice universe for each of the company’s smartphones in the range.

S22 146×70×7.6 167g

S22+ 157.4×75.8×7.6 195g

S22 Ultra 163.3×77.9×8.9 228g

According to leaks, this reduction appears to be carried over to the S22 Plus, which would have a brighter 6.55-inch with Full HD+ AMOLED display.

The S22 Ultra, on the other hand, remains a bit of a mystery, particularly given the possibility that it will incorporate the Galaxy Note S Pen functionality.

Essentially, it is much more difficult to anticipate whether or not there will be a screen size reduction with the Ultra.

Whatever the case, this is what we believe we might see. In terms of screen size, the Galaxy S22 is expected to have a 6.06-inch display (down from 6.2 inches on its predecessor), the Galaxy S22 Plus will have a 6.55-inch display (down from 6.7 inches).

The Galaxy S22 Ultra would have the largest screen of all three handsets at 6.81 inches (down from 6.9 inches).

The Samsung Galaxy S22: Camera.

Early Samsung Galaxy S22 camera rumours suggested that the South Korean manufacturer was in talks with camera giants Olympus to develop a new camera system, but this appears to have been inaccurate at this instance.

We also received a slew of rumours indicating that the S22 could be the first Samsung phone series to include an under-display selfie camera. Unfortunately, this has since been quashed, which is a disappointment.

The S22 Ultra phone was also rumoured to have a 200MP rear camera sensor, but that appears to have been significantly exaggerated, as our most recent information on the S22’s primary sensor indicates that it would be a 108MP sensor.

We believe that incorrect information stemmed from a misunderstanding of the Samsung Galaxy lineup for 2022.

While Samsung’s new Exynos 2200 processor is capable of handling single-lens camera sensors with up to 200MP resolution, none of the 2022 Galaxy phone cameras will have that many megapixels.

In terms of the standard S22 and S22 Plus, our most recent information indicates that these phones will both feature 50MP main sensors and 12MP ultrawide and telephoto lenses, respectively.

For video, leaked information claims that the S22 will be capable of recording video in up to 8K resolution at up to 60 frames per second, which, if true, will represent an enormous improvement over its predecessor, which was only capable of recording video in 8K resolution at 24 frames per second.

As a result, it appears that we are looking at the following type of setup in the S22 range:

Camera: ISOCELL GN5 50MP main + 12MP ultrawide + 12MP telephoto + 10MP selfie (S22).

S22 Plus = ISOCELL GN5 50MP main sensor + 12MP ultrawide sensor + 12MP telephoto + 10MP selfie.

Camera resolution: 108MP main + 12MP ultrawide + 12MP telephoto + 40MP selfie (S22 Ultra).

With regard to the S22 series’ camera software, the biggest leak we’ve seen to date, which could provide a glimpse into a new camera mode on the S22 series, is the introduction of “Super-Resolution Photo,” which is the first time we’ve heard of the term.

According to the leak, the phone is capable of delivering Super Resolution Photo images with “unimaginable clarity and depth” by simultaneously using two of the S22’s sensors, according to the leak.

The slide demonstrates how the phone’s primary camera lens (which can be either a 50 or 108-megapixel unit, depending on the phone model) is used in conjunction with a secondary lens to improve detail and brightness in images.

According to the leak, Samsung’s new “Adaptive Pixel” algorithm, which is controlled by an upgraded neural processing unit, is the key to the lenses working together (NPU).

According to the allegedly leaked official slide, the result is “highly detailed photos that look exactly like what you see.”

We believe that this feature sounds genuine. It’s unclear how the leaker obtained a copy of the official presentation slide, and there’s no way to verify that it’s genuine until the Galaxy S22 launch event takes place.

The Samsung Galaxy S22: S Pen.

For clarity, you did read that correctly. As previously reported, a series of leaks have indicated that Samsung’s Galaxy S22 Ultra will include full S Pen functionality.

To put it another way, the S21 Ultra, which was capable of being used with a digital stylus but did not come with one or allow users to carry one, the S22 Ultra will include an S Pen cavity as well as an S Pen itself.

As reported by the leaks, this will be accomplished by redesigning the S21 Ultra’s flagship device to have more squared-off corners and changing the camera array on the device.

It is hypothesized that these modifications will allow for the incorporation of an S Pen storage and charging cavity into the phone.

It is possible that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will include full S Pen support, making it a worthy successor to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series, which was the last device in the Note series before Samsung decided to discontinue it altogether.

The Samsung Galaxy S22: Design.

The design of the Galaxy S21 smartphones was significantly different from that of the Galaxy S20 handsets that came before them – at least in terms of relative differences.

In our opinion, Samsung made the right decision with the wrap-around camera module, and it doesn’t appear that the company will abandon it after just one year with the S22 and S22 Plus.

The S22, on the other hand, appears to be getting some minor design tweaks soon.

Ice universe, Samsung’s most reliable leaker, has confirmed that the connection between the frame and camera has been changed and that the S22 and S22 Plus will have symmetrical bezels on the front and back of the device.

As for what the S22 and S22 Plus will look like, our best look so far comes courtesy of @OnLeaks, who has created a series of concept images depicting the S22 in various colour schemes and settings.

And while we are on the issue of colours, we’ve also received some leaked information regarding the colours in which the S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra will be available.

The Galaxy S22 and S22+ will be available in White, Black, Rose Gold, and Green colourways, according to GalaxyClub, which was confirmed by a second leak.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available in White, Black, and a new Dark Red finish, while the Galaxy S22 and S22+ will be available in White, Black, Rose Gold, and Green colourways.

Regarding the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra design, leaked official marketing materials for the device provide the best glimpse we’ve had so far at the device.

The rear camera array layout distinguishes the S21 Ultra from its predecessor.

Instead of using a wrap-around design, the S21 Ultra employs a series of individual, raised, circular lenses that protrude cleanly from the backplate.

The Samsung Galaxy S22: Battery.

There has been a lot of assumption about the Samsung Galaxy S22 battery’s ability to support 45W charging, which was mysteriously removed from the Galaxy S21 series.

However, Samsung had already implemented the technology in previous phones.

According to tipster Ice universe, the battery capacities on the S22 range are expected to be smaller than those on the previous generation, who claims that the S22 will only have a 3,700mAh stack.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus will be powered by a battery with a capacity of 4,500mAh.

The S21 came with a super4,000mAh battery, the S21 Plus had a 4,800mAh capacity, and the S21 Ultra had a 5,000mAh capacity.

The good news is that even though the capacity appears to be decreasing, we may see the same or better battery life results because a leak has indicated that the new range may use some energy-saving new OLED screen technology.

The new Qualcomm Snapdragon and Samsung Exynos processors should also provide better performance per watt.

The Samsung Galaxy S22: Lunch.

However, while Samsung has not explicitly stated that the S22 will be unveiled at its upcoming Samsung Unpacked event (because the South Korean phone maker does not announce its products in advance of launch events, it is widely expected to do so at a chance basis.

There is now a live stream of the official trailer for the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked February 2022 event, and it literally shows a mobile phone in it, so we’re taking that, along with the millions of leaks and reports claiming that the S22 will be launched at this event, as evidence that, yes, the S22 range will be launched at Galaxy Unpacked in February 2022.

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on February 9, 2022, at a time that the company has not officially announced.

Though not confirmed by Samsung, the times have been leaked by the company’s own leakster-in-chief, Ice universe, who stated that they will take place at 23:00 on February 9 in Beijing.

That is 07:00 PT, 10:00 ET, and 15:00 GMT for those who live in other parts of the world than China.
