The MacBook Pro Graphics And Video Upgrades Are Powered By New M1 Pro and Max Chips
Apple unveiled its new 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pro models today, including a significant makeover, enhanced hardware, and new Apple silicon in the shape of the M1 Pro and M1 Max chipsets.
New Liquid Retina XDR displays, an SD card slot, an HDMI connector, as well as the removal of the Touchbar,

According to Apple, it boasts a memory bandwidth of 400GB/s and two ProRes accelerators, allowing it to stream up to 30 4K ProRes 422 streams or seven 8K ProRes video streams at once.
Up to four external screens can be connected to the M1 Max (Apple used the example of having three Pro Display XDR monitors connected, as well as a 4K TV).
The new MacBook Pro versions come with up to 8TB of SSD storage and read rates of up to 7.4GB/s and an upgraded thermal design that can flow up to 50% more air over the internals than the previous MacBook Pro design.

For $2,499, you can get a 10-core CPU, a 16-core GPU, 16GB of unified memory, and 1TB of SSD storage in a 16-inch MacBook Pro. Upgrades to the CPU, CPU, memory and storage combinations are available for a fee.
