The Longest-Lasting Smartphones Battery Life

Based on our findings, these are the smartphones with the best phone battery life! Our best phone battery life list includes only the most efficient devices.

Never be concerned about finding a charger since your phone wouldn’t die because these devices can easily last 11.5 hours or more of continuous use.

The best thing is that these phones are available at a variety of pricing, ensuring that you will not be left out due to a lack of funds. Because consumers value battery life, phone manufacturers are expanding the size of their power packs to keep their gadgets functioning.

Samsung and Motorola phones have enormous 5,000 mAh batteries, promising devices that can last all day and night on a single charge.

However, as we’ve discovered in our phone testing, there’s more to making our top phone battery life list than just having a bigger battery. You’ll also require a power-saving chipset.

Every phone we assess undergoes our proprietary battery test, in which we force phones to surf the web indefinitely via LTE or 5G until they run out of power.

The typical phone battery lasts about 10 hours, but the phones we’ve shown here lasted at least 11 hours.

THIS IS THE TYPE OF ENDURANCE WHERE YOU ARE LESS RELIANT ON ONE OF OUR TOP PORTABLE CHARGER SELECTIONS.

The Moto G Power from last year is our current battery champion; however, the Moto G Power (2021) is a long-lasting smartphone in its own right. Both Motorola phones used 5,000 mAh batteries to last at least 14 hours on our battery test.

Motorola phones do exceptionally well in our tests, accounting for six of the top 15 smartphones, and the Moto G Stylus 5G narrowly missed reaching the best phone battery life list. Over the last year and a half of testing, here are the top performers.

1). Moto G Power.

Although a strong challenge from its successor, last year’s Moto G Power remains our long-term champion. If you get the older Moto G Power, you’ll receive a bargain phone with a 5,000 mAh battery that will last you all day.

The Moto G Power lasted more than 16 hours in our tests, outlasting its predecessor by a half-hour. Do not expect this phone to charge quickly. The Moto G Power’s battery indicator only showed a reading of 21% after 30 minutes of charging a drained battery.

However, 5,000 mAh is a sizable battery to fill, and you’re unlikely to need to recharge this phone regularly.

The Moto G Power has a starting price of $249, which is a really good deal. With the release of a new version, you should be able to get this long-lasting phone for even less. Moto G Power 2021 is the second instalment of the Moto G Power series.

Although the older Moto G Power may still be the long-distance champion, a newer model has improved characteristics.

Thankfully, the Moto G Power (2021) comes with a 5,000 mAh battery, allowing it to finish only behind its predecessor in our tests. Although the older G Power may survive longer, the 2021 version is more affordable than before.

While the Moto G Power (2021) can be purchased for $249 for a model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, the 3GB/32GB version can be purchased for $199. The same long-lasting battery will be provided but at a cheaper price.

2). Nubia RedMagic 6.

The Nubia RedMagic 6 smartphone isn’t an exception to that rule. It got a “Highly Recommended” for its great battery life.

Even though the RedMagic 6’s nearly 13.5-hour battery life on our test was impressive, what happened when we turned on the gaming phone’s quick refresh display made us even more excited than the battery life.

The RedMagic 6 did last for 11 hours and 49 minutes at 120Hz and 11 hours and 16 minutes at 165Hz, even though the clock had gone back an hour and a half. This is because higher refresh rates consume more battery power. There were both good enough times to be in this group.

If you’re in love with a phone with good photos, the Nubia RedMagic 6 lacks some of the capabilities found on competing phones. However, if you’re a gamer, you won’t have to worry about this phone running out of battery.

3). Kyocera DuraForce Ultra 5G UW.

People who work on construction sites need a durable phone that can last a long time without a charge. The Kyocera DuraForce Ultra 5G UW is one of those types of phones.

That’s what this phone does, thanks to a 4,500 mAh battery and a low-power Snapdragon 765G chip. The phone made by Kyocera is very durable, and it lasted for just over 12 hours when we put it to the test.

That’s especially impressive because the phone can work with 5G. DuraForce’s name, on the other hand, says that this phone is made for Verizon’s very fast Ultra-Wideband 5G. You’ll have to go elsewhere for a durable phone that works on networks other than Verizon’s.

4). Asus ROG Phone 5.

The only question was how long the Asus ROG Phone 5 would survive on a single charge. A phone with an in-built battery capable of lasting for many days will be an excellent choice for gamers who want something that will endure for a long time.

This is especially true for high-end gaming phones that are designed to handle demanding games. In our testing, the ROG Phone 5’s battery life was roughly 12.5 hours, with the screen set to a 60Hz refresh rate, which is an excellent result.

Even increasing the refresh rate to 120 Hz and rerunning the test resulted in a final result that took 10 hours and 53 minutes to complete, despite the fact that we could play for long periods without the battery running out of power.

We could play for extended periods without the battery running out of power. The ROG Phone 5 charges swiftly, even with a 6,000 mAh battery, thanks to its 65W charging capability. After a half-hour of charging a drained phone, we came back to a 70% charge.

5). Samsung Galaxy A52 5G.

The Galaxy A52 5G’s battery life isn’t compromised because it has 5G connectivity. On our test, the phone lasted 12 hours and 19 minutes. It’s worth noting that we got that incredible time when the phone’s screen was set to a 60Hz refresh rate.

The A52 also has a feature that allows you to modify the refresh rate to a blistering 120Hz, which is a rare feature among phones under $500. Unfortunately, this reduces the A52 5G’s battery life, although our 10 hours and 19-minute battery test result is still better than the typical smartphone.

Don’t anticipate quick charging from this device unless you pay extra for a faster charger. Even though the Galaxy A52 5G supports 25W fast wired charging, Samsung only offers a 15W charger in the package. After half an hour, the charge was a rather unimpressive 31 per cent.

6). Moto G Fast.

Moto-G Fast

The Moto G Fast gets by on its 4,000 mAh battery for 12 hours and 17 minutes in our test, nearly four hours behind its Moto G sister but still ranking among the top ten best phone battery life of the devices we’ve tested in the last 18 months, according to Battery Life International.

Even though this is an excellent performance for a phone that costs less than $200, don’t expect speedy charging times from this budget phone.

According to the battery indicator on the phone, the stock charger that came with the Moto G Fast only managed to recharge the phone’s battery to 26 per cent after 30 minutes of use.

7). iPhone 13 Pro Max.

iPhone 13 Pro Max

When it came to battery life, the iPhone 12 models from 2020 didn’t do anything to stand out. Apple responded by increasing the capacity of the batteries in its new iPhone 13 series, which sees gains across the board.

However, no Apple phone can outlast the iPhone 13 Pro Max in terms of battery life. On our battery test, this iPhone lasted more than 12 hours, which is particularly impressive considering its adaptive display, which can increase the refresh rate of the 6.7-inch screen when your task would benefit from a fast-refreshing display.

Because of its larger battery and more energy-efficient A15 Bionic CPU, the iPhone 13 Pro Max can handle the additional power consumption. In addition, we hope Apple will increase the charging speed of its iPhones.

8). Cat S62 Pro.

Cat S62 Pro

The Cat S62 Pro is a tough phone that can last for an extended period on a single charge. And the Cat S62 Pro delivers with a battery life of 12 hours and 16 minutes. However, unlike Kyocera’s phone, the Cat S62 Pro does not support 5G connectivity, so it must rely on its 4,000 mAh battery to get through the day.

Therefore, there will be no need for a power-hungry 5G modem. When you need to recharge the Cat S62 Pro’s battery, you won’t receive the fastest charge times possible.

After 15 minutes of charging, the phone had returned to 17 per cent of its original charge, and after half an hour, it had reached 37 per cent. That’s not too bad, although phones on this list charge more quickly than that.

9). Moto G Stylus.

However, while the G Stylus’ battery may last longer between charges, don’t expect it to recharge much faster than it did before.

Using the Moto G Stylus, the battery indicator was back up to 15 per cent after 15 minutes of charging a completely depleted phone, and it was just shy of 30 per cent after 30 minutes of charging.

In any case, knowing that for $300, you can get a phone that will last you the entire day and comes with a really creative pen for taking notes is a pleasant bonus.

10). Motorola Edge.

Image: techadvisor

It’s important to note that we recorded when the phone’s display was set to a 60Hz refresh frequency. Enabling a 90Hz refresh rate on the Motorola Edge reduced the phone’s battery life to 11 hours, 35 minutes, which was still sufficient to place it on this list of the greatest battery-life smartphones.

In addition, we tested the phone on the Verizon wireless network because it provided a better signal where our reviewer was located.) The Motorola Edge’s performance on T-network Mobile’s may vary, but not significantly enough to remove it from our list.)

We wished the Motorola Edge charged more quickly, as the phone’s battery was only able to recharge to 36 per cent after a half-hour of use with the provided 18-watt charger.

Nonetheless, for $699, the Motorola Edge is an excellent choice if you want a 5G phone with a fast-refreshing screen that doesn’t drain its battery as quickly as similar smartphones.

11). Motorola One 5G Ace.

Image: pricepony

Motorola’s dominance of our longest-lasting phone list continues with the Motorola One 5G Ace, despite the fact that this device’s scores of 12 hours or more on our test are notable in and of itself.

The new Motorola One phone is a 5G gadget, and 5G can take a significant amount of battery life and power. The Motorola One 5G Ace is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery to meet these requirements.

You can easily go through the remainder of the day on a single battery charge with that amount of time remaining!

It will take some time until your phone is fully charged. The Motorola One 5G Ace was only able to recharge to a 25 per cent battery capacity after 30 minutes of charging time.

However, at $399, this is a reasonably priced 5G phone, allowing you to purchase a long-lasting phone that connects to a speedier network for less than $400. Alternatively,

12). OnePlus Nord N10 5G.

It’s yet another phone that doesn’t let the demands of 5G have an effect on its battery life: the OnePlus Nord N10 5G.

However, unlike the other 5G phones on this list of long-lasting smartphones, the OnePlus Nord N10 5G is not prohibitively expensive, with a starting price of $299 in the United States now that it has launched in the country.

As a result, according to our calculations, this OnePlus handset is the most affordable 5G gadget to have survived our battery test for more than 11 hours.

To be more specific, the OnePlus Nord N10 5G ran out of power after only 11 hours and 48 minutes of use, which is an excellent performance for any smartphone.

Because we were able to get this result with the display’s higher 90Hz refresh rate activated on the Nord N10 display, we can conclude that OnePlus has done an excellent job of extracting the most power possible from the phone’s 4,3000 mAh battery.

It charges quickly, thanks to the support for the OnePlus Warp Charge 30T technology, which restores the phone to 68 per cent of its original capacity in 30 minutes.

13). iPhone 13 Pro.

There are several new Apple devices that have joined the ranks of our best phone battery life ranking, including the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the iPhone XS Max.

Thanks to a bigger battery with a more energy-efficient A15 Bionic technology, the iPhone 13 Pro offers significantly longer battery life than its predecessor.

Like the iPhone 13 Pro, the iPhone 13 Pro Max has an adaptable ProMotion display that varies the refresh rate of the screen, which makes the device’s already great battery life even more impressive.

As previously said, the only issue with Apple’s latest series of iPhones in terms of power is how rapidly they charge. The maximum power of wired charging is 20W, whereas wireless charging is 15W when using Apple’s MagSafe accessories.

14). Samsung Galaxy A32 5G.

Samsung’s mid-range phones are proving to be long-lasting gadgets, as evidenced by the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G’s 5,000 mAh battery, which earned it a spot on our list of the best phone battery life.

Even with the display’s refresh rate set to 90Hz, the Galaxy A32 managed to last for more than 11.5 hours in our battery test. When we reduced the refresh rate to 60Hz, the phone was usable for more than 12 hours without dying.

Because Samsung only supports 15W wired charging, don’t expect the Galaxy A32 5G to charge quickly. Samsung only supports 15W wireless charging. At $279, the Galaxy A32 5G, on the other hand, is a cost-effective solution to ensure that your phone will last you throughout the day.
